The Romney Is a local traditional breed originally from the Romney marsh which lies on the Sussex/Kent border. Romney is a hardy, low input sheep thriving on the Beech Farm organic pastures.
She is an excellent pasture converter managing to live off grass all year round, she also makes a exceptional an mother with very few lambing difficulties lambing outside in April.
The Flock is closed retaining all our own ewe lambs. Lambs fatten on a grass only diet, aiming for a great quality carcass, bursting with flavours.
